Paintings and sculptures from the Submarine Exhibition. These images are inspired by the artists experience in the shipyard where he was employed as a Loftsman.
Mckendrick spent 6 years in the famous John Brown's Shipyard on Clydeside spending his time working on the QE2, the Intrepid, Brotish Mariner, Kungsholm, and the
North Star. He met many men who had served on submarines and the merchant navy during ww2 and shared their experiences.
